Hi All!

As the title states, I'm new to the U.K. - Chorley/Leyland area, and this forum. Starting over from scratch as I only moved her with a few suitcases and sold all of my gear a few years back. Not the most ideal time to get back into the sport with COVID/Lockdown looming, but the fire has been lit once again.

I'm looking to join a team (once this whole pandemic settles) in my area if possible. I've been emailing the CPPS guys as well for some info/insight on where to play here as well. Their live stream event on this passed Sunday was pretty cool to watch as well!

Any suggestions, etc. would be appreciated!

Hiya bud
If your looking to play sup air at cpps hit me up always looking for players
Hey Mikey!

Yeah, I’d be in for a trip down to play there, the field/facility looks awesome! I’m in the process of piecing together some gear (and missed out on the Ego 11 in the classifieds due to the lack of posts- which is understandable).

I mostly played a speedball/woodsball hybrid on a small course I built with friends in a tinywooded section. I’ve also played Sup/air ball indoors against some local teams as well.

Thanks @Bolter and @Tony Harrison!

Currently in the 'building gear' phase and looking for a marker in the sub 300 range. limited options out there, but I have seen markers like an Ego11 (Missed out on as I didn't have 20 posts!) and an ETEK 4. I want to stick with PE as they have such a great history in the sport and I would prefer to support local/UK manufactured companies.

Any other suggestions/insight would be appreciated.

@jwt8068, better to avoid an Ego 11 and the ETEK 4. They are old models and spares can be difficult to come by.

On the offchance that anyone offers you guns via PM, post up what has been offered and the price - we can then advise you accordingly.

We have now reached the end of the 2020 season, and a lot of players will be selling their markers - although I understand that teams like the Firm and Lucky 15s are keeping theirs, because they have seen so little use this season.

I will keep an eye out for a decent marker at a good price, and come back to you when I find one.

You’re the man and that would be much appreciated. No PM’s but a second opinion is always helpful. I tend to do a fair amount of research before making any decisions as well.

I figured the quality of those options (even with them being dated), would still hold weight playing in current times. I also looked into the 160R which is in a similar price range.

Newer model options seem to be between Axe 2.0/Etha 2.

I think most markers in the last 5-10 years would be better than my last ‘new’ marker which was a SP nerve. I did like the compact feel it had, similar to the shocker.
