Hi All

Newbie I'm afraid

Although this is for a pcp air rifle project I want to source a good quality paintball style regulator with 18 x 1.5 x G1/2 - 14 threads and capable of 4500 x 1800 psi

Tried Ninja but output thread wrong size.

Is there a top brand available in the uk that produce high end regs or is it china and keep your fingers crossed?

Appreciate your thoughts

Thanks

GordonM

Paintball tank regs tend to range from 400-800 psi output. There are a few ninja shp (super high pressure) options but are less common.

There are no domestic reg brands, mainly US companies likely being made overseas

Thanks for reply. I had scoured the internet and I had come to a similar conclusion but thought I would speak to people in the know before maybe going to china where they do have them that will fit. Ninja seemed to have the quality but the wrong threads

Paintball bottle regulators all have 0.625-18UNF threads, that is the industry standard thread. and the output thread is industry standard as well so if a ninja one was wrong for what you want they'll all be wrong for what you want.

I think you are right that over here that's the case. On Ali express they sell the G1/2 - 14 so I'm not sure what country they are made for. I understand they are almost identical threads but just different enough to bind if you mix them. I was trying to get a branded one though to see if I can improve on the Chinese one on the gun

for paintball regs the industry standard is world wide, i'm not sure which thread it is you're talkin about but they're all the same, the thread that screws the reg onto the bottle is the one i gave a size for and they're the same world wide, the thread that screws the reg onto the gun which i'm guessing is the one you're on about is a standard thread ( i don't know the size) but it's the same all over the world.

Ninja make products for softing too so likely do runs with PCP tank threads, the ASA end threads are pretty universal
