Hi all,
My university team is going to be attending NvS (there's 7 of us in total) however none of the members with cars are able to attend, which leaves us in a bit of a sticky situation...

Apparently it is possible to get the train, but i cant find a station anywhere near the event. Also if there is one, does anyone know of any buses going anywhere close to the event?

Any help or advise would be much

edit:By the way, we are travelling from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Done this a couple of years ago and got the train to stone then taxi to the game. It would probably be worth booking a b&b for the sunday night tho as trains don't generally stop at the station on Sunday night.

we're planning on camping for the whole weekend (I know, paintball gear AND camping stuff on a train is going to be fun...), so i don't think a b&b will be needed. I've had a look at the stone station, seems to be the ideal option.

Cheers :)

Well as difficult as it is it is possible! I ended up taking a roller gear bag full of kit, hold all and tent on the train. I can try and get the b&b we stayed in if that's any help. Was just up the road and the land lady even picked up from the site entrance.

Spoken to the guys i'm going with, will get the train to stone where hopefully keele or abers are able to give me a lift from stone to nvs. Failing that we'll get a cab.
Then just leave sunday afternoonish and get the train home, will only take a few hours, Stone>Staff>Birmingham>Cheltenham!
In terms of kit, i've got a camping bag which will hold clothes food tent and sleeping bags for me and the mrs, and just take my kit rollerbag and wheel that along. Happy days :)

By your kind nature, i'm assuming you're playing for the south scrumpy? :D :D Will see you there ;-)
