If you're refering to attending the Barnetts stolen version of the UWL that pretty much spells out the depth of your moral character then, especially if you choose to still support and do business with a group of people (Barnetts) who have deliberately scammed and conned other people.

I believe the saying goes something along the lines of "I'm alright Jack"...........
I read JJ's post the other way:

We support all organisers events.
We will also support the new set up UWL as no matter who organises it we are the reigning champions.

I play paintball for fun, if you've met any of the Sandbaggers you will understand we are all passionate about the game and play as often as we can.

We played (and won) the first UWL at Geds site. We love the format and have found the people playing to be passionate about playing and friendly.

My only concern is that we don't lose the woodland tournament scene. It's slowly growing again and it allows a lot of differing levels of players a chance to compete. It also represents good value for money in relation to game time.

The best format we have played recently was at Skirmish Nottingham. Hyperball, Supair and woodland all in one day. We will be supporting it again next year.

We support the CPPS, Millennium, recball, scenario, big game. We play home and abroad and take it as an opportunity to meet, drink and play 'ball.

I'm not getting further drawn into this other than to say

You have no idea as to my moral character.

I'd be safe in saying there are many in paintball who would vouch for me. I can think of none that won't.
With thirty years playing that's a bold statement but I'm confident in it.

I want nothing more than to see paintball flourish again. The UWL is a great format and will help bring new and old players into the game.

We'll be there trying to improve on our world rankings.

I'm bowing out now, I've said all I'm saying and what I have said is my own opinion not necessarily that of the team.

Silver - think it is safe to say, Swollen has never met you guys and got the wrong end of the stick. Sandbaggers / Planet have always put paintball(ers) first and have a reputation for doing everything at 1000mph, from playing to drinking to hot sauce ;)
So no need to defend yourself, your team or PE.

Catch you on the field soon

Not an argument. Thats like saying "well this person did something bad to a child, but I'll continue to buy his/her music because it's so good". If someone gives aid or support to a bad person, then that is what they must be judged on.

Well I guess the solution to that is to not play shoreline events, not join the sandbaggers and not buy any PE gear. That way you can remain totally absolved of any wrong doing and remain firmly upon your high horse.

Back in the day when Smart-Parts were claiming copyright for the electropnumatic marker I played with Twisted, who were a Smart Parts Europe 'sponsored' team, in so far as we may have got some discount (Jim more than anyone else lol). I remember saying to the guys that I wanted to drop the 'affiliation', I was laughed out the room.

Although it's correct that swollen (clearly) doesn't know JJ or any of the baggers, to a point he is correct that by playing Barnett's series you are supporting him and to an extent his actions within paintball.
The lost prophets reference is a bit far removed for me.

I'm afraid money sometimes has an insidious effect on people and it can undermine most people's resolve to do the right thing.
However, I know some of the Sandbaggers and none of the guys I know are swayed by money in that sense.

I'm not sure why people choose to continue associating themselves with barnet especially after the Valken, Simon Cole and Powerball debacles.
I'm pretty sure that if barnett had screwed any of the players who intend to participate in his version of the UWL next year, they wouldn't still be playing in barnett's league, period !!!

And so, it seemingly implies that as long as 'other' people are getting screwed by barnett, then it's ok to support him.
That's not a policy I could adopt but that's just my opinion but it's also the opinion of a lot of you guys who have been adamant they want nothing to do with barnett any more and I 100% respect them for that.
