I'm also new to MagFed so I might not be able to offer too much help. However, I have carried out loads of research and it looks like the most popular markers are the Milsig M17 and the FS T15. However with that being said I have also heard some very good things about the Tippmann TMC.

M17pmc is great for closer up games and the t15 is excellent at distance as well. Have used both with FS no problem and both worked really well. Haven't used paint through either only fs. The m17pmc can use the zetamags which also fit the tipx so it can be easier to carry all of one type. Hope this helpful. Let's us know what else you think

Hi im new to magfed too, i own a tipx and its pretty light and accurate. Tippmann tmc, milsig cqc/pmc, mcs bolt, all they are nice starting rifles. If you want a pistol, tipx or t8.1 are the best choices.

The new tippmann tmc is cheap and is very nice to use. I used one during the mil-tac event at NPF £10 for the day and I couldn't pick anything wrong with it. Would different recommend getting a sight tho

The t15 requires basic knowledge and maintain skills to own it. I wouldn't recommend it as a starter magfed gun. The milsig, tmc, tgr r the one u should looking at. I am currently own Tmc. Cheap, realible, realistic and working very well.

Tgr2 all day long, simple to use, service and repair. Their also cheap and used as site markers, says everything really.
