Ok so only got to play the Saturday of Borderlands due to family commitments but it was Hot damn Hot so if my mask was going to steam up this was a good weekend to find out what would happen.

EVS goggles and habervision fan result

The EVS worked flawlessly I did not steam up at all so much so that the habervision did not kick in even once all day Saturday so my only comment Tommo is that the EVS are a very good goggle for us big lads, hopefully the habervision is just an added safeguard.

Cheers for letting me know SD, I think I might be going next weekend and I have just ordered a mirrored lens and I'm hoping that will help as well.

I was also looking into making my own, but I can't find any 15x15 fans that don't cost me an arm and a leg in postage from China

I made the mistake of using anti fog solution on my new thermal mask now I have scratches on it? and gets smeared easily? I have to buff it with toilet paper after every game :(

Get the glass cloths from Sainsbury's, they are perfect and only £1.50

I use normal microfiber cloth to take off the worst of the paint, then use the green one to buff it up.

As for anti fog I use Rainex anti fog it does a great job

I've found just the cloths and the inside lens covered in the Rainex will do the trick.

What I do with the Rainex is pour some on the lens then keep moving it around till all of the lens is covered and do that for about 10 minutes.

Then use your finger to rub in the excess, let it dry and then use the green glass cloth and you are good to go.

I fog up real bad, but with this I'm golden

Don't breath, sweat or play in conditions with high levels of humidity or precipitation.

All antifog 'solutions' fail unless you help them along.

Wear a headband and change it often.
Dry your frames between games.
Encourage airflow, use a fan.
