So here we go, another introduction. I've never been very good these.

My name's Joe, and I've been paintballing since may this year after one of the guys at work organised a weekend for us. I had an absolute riot at warped and asked the chap if I could join him again at some point (the chap already had his own gear)
So a couple of weeks later I went again, this time armed with my own mask and a borrowed dm14. Holly cow did that make a difference to playing, I could actually hit people now I had a marker that shot straight and a mask that didn't steam up on me half way through a round.

Anyway, after that day I was hooked and have been playing roughly every 2 weeks since. I've now got a marker set up and I'm rapidly learning how to maintain and look after it.

I've done a walk-on at warped and found it even better than a normal weekends paintball and I'm already booked in for the next walk-on at the end of October.

My other hobbies;
I've been flying and competing with RC helis for the last ten years, I'm not much good but it's never stopped me from having a go. Carp fishing when time allows. Amateur radio and electronics to top it off.

Now I've got paintball in with that lot my weekends are getting really busy.

Anyway, thanks for reading and here's to hoping it's a mild, paintball friendly winter

Many thanks,
Joe

Ps, the forum name is one I've used for years, it's from an old gaming forum and was used for my characters in online games.

Hi Joe I'm assuming since you've been around the warped site alot you have seen the club membership option giving you a discount on the club days/walk ons as well as the option of joining us on warped tactical and or warped tournament teams which ever takes your fancy

Yes frosty, I'm already a member.

I don't really fancy getting into tourney stuff with paintball (if I dabble and accidently win a trophy I'll be screwed) I already compete accross Europe with my RC helis so I know the amount of time it takes to get to even a half decent level in a hobby.

Even with that in mind I'd like to pop in on a couple of the training days just to help my game along a little. Any idea who would be best to contact?

The tourny team would be mark Bishton in the shop or the tactical team which plays the occasional woodsball event (like the 10 man coming up) but mainly are a big game team it would be myself

When do warped run their walkons, used to be a member afew years ago and played with the likes of Matt who I think still works for them at a number of big games.

Since I started back been playing mostly walkon at outpost but nice to find out Cosford walkon dates to vary it abit

The 10 man woodsball is on the 2/10 and the plague walk on is 29/10

I know they have a Christmas one on the 17/12 and there may be another 5 man cup in-between but not sure on that.
