Hi all,

I'm looking for some advise I have been using a DAM for the last 2 years and have now put it up for sale so I can get a Magfed, after looking around I've found that I'm drawn to the Milsig range but I'm not sure what to go for and wanted some input from anyone that may have had one.

The 3 I'm looking at are;

Milsig M5 Magnus
Milsig M17 CQC A2
Milsig M17 SMG

The problem is I like certain elements of all 3, but want them in one marker so I guess my question is can you do this?

As I like the stock of the SMG, which would go well with the CQC A2 as I prefer the mags used on the CQC A2 over the SMG and I'm not a fan of the stock on the CQC A2.

However have been told the CQC A2 is an entry level marker, an as for the M5 looks a beast like the mag release and would like it to look like the CQC 2 with the stock from the SMG, which I believe you can buy but no idea how interchangeable it is between these 3 markers.

So if anyone can help please let me know, as I really like the look of the platform and really like the idea of the fire select mode......well I would as have been use to this on my DAM for the last 2 years :ROFLMAO:

I’d say try and get a hands on and feel a milsig, plus especially try the magazines

The Dam is magfed and has a natural feel when changing magazines. I can handle the dam and pistols such as Tpx and Tiberius but I totally fail with the ‘dedicated magfed’ magazines
I was even a faction commander for a magfed game and went into the first game with a borrowed tipx because I had lent out my dam, was supposed to be using my tipx which decided to chrono at 400fps+ and every rental I tried smashed paint when I loaded mags

Milsigs are also a backwards step in technology

I will be honest Tom I've not really used my mags in game, all the walkons I have been to have chaps with sup air hardware. So to even try and compete, which even the DAM can't I use either the rotor or my boxloader.

As for the step back, me and a mate just fancy trying something different. Where it's a level playing field and no one can lay down lanes of paint, which is what you get with speedball players

I would take the T15 PDW over the MILSIG line of guns.
if you want the MILSIG you are talking about the first step would be contacting the company and asking if they are prepared to build a gun to order.
Remember that a lot of the stocks and furniture are standard milspec so changing that up afterwards may not be too difficult.

Try getting to a OMG game and renting a magfed from them.

They have either TGR or TMC.

Then while you're there ask to look and try out the other markers people run that you're interested in.

I'm personally not a fan of MILSIG I had major issues years back.

Have ran the TMC over last few games but favour my mag converted Phenom. Lighter trigger, easy on air and the lok bolt works a treat.

TMC has been great and with the OMG 416 kit is solid and looks a beast.
