newbies Looking at getting into competive speedball need advice

Hi everyone

This is my first post on here I have heard that this is the best forum around for advice, so I thought I would try and tap into some experience players for advice.

Me and my partner and her brother have being going at least 2 times a month to our local woodsball site for about 7 months which we have being really enjoying. But we where talking the other day about getting our own gear and taking it to more of competive level and getting into speedball as paint balling has become our hobby over the the recent months.

So I'm just looking for some advice on where we can take our own gear and practice, skirmish at a speedball site? We live Chorley Lancashire so does anyone no of any speedball sites in North west England ? Also we would like to join a team or setup our own eventually but is there any local teams in lancashire that would let us practice with them at there local sites.

So you don't play woodsball anymore ? I just purchased my marker this weekend dye proto maxxed rize just for starters. Where abouts are you from ?

Also when you have into sup air what does this mean ? Sorry for newbie questions

How often do you play and train ? Do you play in a league / tournaments ?
Also is there site restrictions that I need to know about like psi etc..

We tend to train every 2 weeks and play as iften as we can tbh we play at cpps for sup air which ive got 3 teams in div4 breakout breakin divs so plenty of progression. Woodsball we play at on the edge in macclesfield

Would I be able to come down 1 weekend next month and train with you guys ? Also is there any restrictions on equipment you can bring ?

Should have all my gear by then just abit stuck on what air tank to buy abs size, do you have any suggestions ?

Course you can come down we are at cpps next sunday if any good to you what marker gear do you have? Bottle size normally 1.1 4.5k fuel bottles are good

@Mikey93 do not, repeat do not let my skipper sell you anything...not yet anyway (sorry @mikey1975 has to be said ) Come on down or chat around before buying stuff as you'll get a lot of cash saving advice on gear, last thing you want to do is blow ££ on kit that won't keep up as you grow as a player. Worst case I'm sure we could rustle up some gear for you to try out at a training day.

What sort of gear are you looking at buying? Mask being the first thing you should look at IMO

Haha thanks for the heads up lol ! I'm going to buy all the essential gear needed really. So far I've purchased vforce grill mask, spire 3 hopper, used proto rize maxxed for £100 but think I'm going to buy a shocker xls or dsr no decided yet, also at the weekend I'm going to purchase first strike air bottle. So really after that I'll just need some clothng to play in really and pod pack
