Hi all,

Purchased a ironman trigger for my proto Rize maxxed, it’s not listed as fitting but the marker uses the same dye UL frame as the older DM’s and looks to be the same trigger except it’s missing the trigger stop screw.

Does anyone have any ingenious ways that means I don’t need to drill the trigger and fit a screw ?

Also has anyone ever removed the trigger pin from a Rize as they are pressed in rather than screwed in.

Any advice is welcome.

I probably functions just fine without the stop screw, you just won't be able to adjust the post-travel.

If that's a major concern, you could also drill&tap the frame, or glue a plastic nubbin on the frame behind the trigger and the file it to suit. Not as adjustable but honestly how often do you mess with trigger settings once you find the combo you like?

The frame is the same in shape - the trigger isnt

on a normal dm frame the post travel is set by the frame not a trigger screw

Yeah i'm aware. however its odd that violent triggers for the DM series come with the stop. The trigger shape is the same apart from that feature.

@Barwell1992 the reason its like that is so they can make one model and sell to more people...
That is usually true, however every gun that's listed for that trigger is also listed for one I've purchased both triggers have the same compatibility list, only thing i wondered is if because the above is plastic is gets damaged from constantly hitting the pin in the frame. hence the additional stop. either way its not a big job to drill the trigger.
