Fields near Birmingham that allow you to bring your own paint.
Rather than sites that allow players to bring their own paint its better to source sites that run walk ons and avoid rental dates or rental only sites
You may or may not be able to bring your own paint, but will benefit from non rental prices (that’s how sites pay for their overheads)

The disadvantages of your own paint is getting it, storing it, transporting it and if it’s a bad batch or broken then that’s your problem

NPF at bassets pole run Diamond Wars as their walkon series

Bassets Pole is my local field and I love the layouts and maps just find the paint a bit more pricey

Talk to Loki over at PPK Kidderminster. As far as I'm aware, with walk-ons you can bring your own paint and pay admission, or for like £5-10 on top of admission you can get a case of paint, so it's not much of a savings to bring your own. PPK is definitely one of the cheapest walk-ons around and a damn good site to play!

are you playing rental days or diamond wars? entry for diamond wars is £65 inc a box of paint or £85 including 2 boxes thats only £20 extra for the second box!
and if your not already playing diamond wars when you do HMC is the only way to go

As Tom said, giving the host site as much income as possible encourages them to run more events - if they don't make any money (mostly to buy the paint themselves and pay the marshals) then they won't hold walkons, as they could make a tonne more by taking extra rental bookings. There are few enough willing paintball sites as it is, the more we can support them the better.

On top of that, you might save £5 per box by buying elsewhere, but by the time you've paid delivery or the hassle of picked it up yourself and storing it properly, it works out pretty similar. It's also common for sites to charge a slightly higher entry fee if you're not using their paint so you don't really get any savings at all.
