My favourite at the moment is the axe pro, I always take a couple of vanquishes with me and a mini and a few axes, sometimes a cocker or two or some automags. But The Axe pro is definitely my favourite

I’m sort of semi retired down here, but still own a tattoo and piercing studio up country
6) When/how did you first get into paintball?
First played in 1986 using old air pistols with tubes on the end, then in 1987 I played with a splatmaster and thought it was the best thing ever, in 1987 I played just about every week at my local site then played tournaments from then on, every week for almost 10 years
7) What was your first marker?
First marker I bought was a splatmaster , first “proper” marker was a nelspot 007 J
8) How often do you use p8ntballer?
Sometimes every day, sometimes months go by and I don’t at all, depends where I am in the world, I do a lot of travelling or did til I moved to cornwall
9) What first brought you to p8ntballer?
After I retired from pro paintball in 1997 I used to get the magazines for a few months afterwards then stopped getting them , then didn’t read or have anything to do with paintball until 2013 when the guys that worked for me wanted a paintball day out, I went along, shot the crap out of everybody and realised I really missed playing so I wanted to find out how the tournament scene was going and googled paintball and P8ntballer came up, so I joined and a week later I bought plat membership and then went crazy buying things . I've bought a lot on P8ntballer

The fact that I’ve not yet managed to get banned, as I do from a lot of other things, I tend to speak my mind regardless of who it upsets .

A few, probably more than I know as I don’t know names, but a few of the old guard.
12) What is your dream gun setup?
I have it now, a spire an axe pro and a 1.5 safer bottle with my old armson barrel.
although saying that, the Pred cocker I had from 94 onwards was my favourite back in the day
13) What is the worst gun you've ever owned?
The golden eagle has to be up there, heavy door stop. Although the first vanquish I bought has never actually made it through one whole game yet.

Probably nothing because I’m quite lazy and would think about something to change weeks after I’d lost control. But off the top of my head, I’d ban people for using poor grammar and anyone who uses text speak

Woods tournies. Although I do want to play some sup air, I’m just old and don’t have the speed and the three times I’ve played sup air I seem to get shot trying to run to the corner on the break or get pulled for having an illegal marker firing 25 balls a sec. (sorry Redskins)

In life Telling the Hoff to get out of my seat on a flight to New Zealand and not knowing who he was, plus I had the wrong seat, my first ever upgrade to first class J
In Paintball Pulling an awesome move off and shooting the last 4 players to grab the flag and run into into our base only to find out that you had to take the flag to the opposition base , therefore I gave the win to some French team, stupid French tournament with stupid new rules. Toulouse 1995

Apart from the birth of my son, goes without saying obvs.
Proudest was Representing my country in the junior Olympics in 1984 (fencing)
Most memorable was waking up in blackpool after disappearing for 3 weeks and going on a massive drugs binge in mexico and still to this day not knowing how I ended up in blackpool. It was a hectic time of my life .

Smoking. Everyone I know has given up, but I just can’t

The years I had with the Preds, so many good times and memories from around the world
33) What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
So many Broken bones from accidents through the years, But the absolute scariest thing , apart from my first marriage, was taking my son on the London eye, I am absolutely petrified of heights ( I have a compulsion to jump) I promised him that I would take him on the london eye and when we started going up I just froze and stared at the bench in the middle while sat on the bench and everyone asking me if I was ok and my 6 year old son coming over to me and telling everybody that I was scared and he was looking after me, I actual cried when I got off I was that scared, my loving son loves telling everyone that we meet that I cried on the London eye and he looked after me, especially when we are going on escalators. Little git.
34) You're on death row, what's your last meal?
My last meal would be mashed maris piper potatoes, peas and garlic mushrooms with a creamy non dairy garlic sauce.
35) First thing you'd do if you won the lotto?
Probably not enough money to do what I want, But I’d buy the biggest piece of land and adopt every single dog from a shelter and give them the life they deserved
