its on pbn
Yea he's gone. The go sports podcast mentioned it a couple days ago. Confirmed by John at pbn this morning on a phone call with Ollie.
I spent many, many saturdays practicing against him and the rest of the Iron kids, then when they became Dynasty. One of the only players to use the whole field to make moves. It was a lot of fun to play against him, and watching him play all these years.
I've seen alot of great players in my short time, but none had what Lang had. No one comes even close. A true great.
No one ever answered why older masks without chin straps were ATSM certified and the new ones need the strap
Oliver touched me once.
I was thinking this as my older ize jt's never had a chainstrap from new.....
As far as I am aware Mills are still recommending players wear a chin strap rather than enforcing them.
Remember when the league said everyone had to wear faceplates, and y'all got bent out of shape about having to wear faceplates, and then you'd bend up the bottom of it so it was really only half a faceplate, because of how rad you were?
Who would step out on the field now without a faceplate?
Who would bend it up so your teeth were showing?
Chin-straps are a common sense addition to the safety rules. I'm sure that soon there will be a HK chin-strap made, with real beard hair, that will end up being super-cool, because people will look like they could actually grow beards in real life, and anyone that doesn't wear a chinstrap by then will be super jell.
Flash forward 12 months and y'all will be castigating people on here for not wearing the correct chinstrap in pics, and calling those guys noobs.
at least I hope so, as I'll be waiting for that moment to strike...
ps - Shame to see Ollie go. A natural athlete that could have chosen any sport, but chose ours.
