3D printing has recently come to the fore and I can't see any threads about it for over a year! Wakey wakey, P8nt!

A very interesting page produced by Maplins which mentions a complex but successful medicinal usage of 3D printing.

I didn't connect 3D printing and paintball until after I saw the unveiling of this chap's open-source hopper, within which he suggests you can 3D parts:

By the look of things it would be extremely easy to produce simple pieces like pots or hopper shells, but who knows where it would end?
