ahh physics

The one reason this works with a bullet is because it is relatively heavy, paint isn't it is nice and light and a bullet is fairly consistent in its mass and density all the way through, a paint ball isn't, a bullet expands when fired (to my knowledge a paintball ball deforms but doesn't expand) and gelatin gripping groves in metal? I think it would be a quick way to create dulux.

So would a VL Rev, modified to shake like a baby's rattle then loosen the paint within the balls enough to affect the spin of the ball exiting the barrel??

Haha... if u could make your loader pre-spin your balls BEFORE they get fired, (fast and long enough to get the contents swirling) then would the spinning paint cause a stabilising gyroscope effect within the shell? :D

It'd probably have to be a mechanism within the breech, thinking about it...
