the tippman 98's chop 4 balls out of ten, and they dont come with an expansion chamber for 120 dollars, if u get a spyder tl+ for 120 dollars it comes wit halot more and it doesnt chop like crazy.

I've never seen a properly functioning Tippman that chops any more paint than a Spyder. They are both low end 'guns, and one is not really different than the other. Since he spent his $120 on a Tippman already, why should he blow another $120 on another crappy 'gun? He should stick with this one, maybe put a few bux into it here and there to impove proformance. Then, if he wants to, step into a higher end gun.

Yeah, that's another thing that I forgot to mention, a good barrel and a good paint to barrel match will do worlds for your consistancy. You might lookinto a freak jr. that way if you do move up later on you just buy the new back section (like $40ish) and you're good to go. Just buy the inserst you need ($20ish each) and it's like buying a compleatly differnt barrel. But remember no barrel will make crap paint shoot straight. the projectile is after all the weak link in paintball accuracy.

So good barrel and a good reg and your tippy will be rockin'
