Anyone tried anodizing at home ?

As above guys i have seen a few threads on the net on anodizing at home , just wondered if anyone has tried it ?

i get that but the bits i need doing are tiny and there is a set up charge of £75 minimum i reckon i could do it for about £20

A friend of mine did try some at home Anodizing, he offered to do some bits for me but never got round to it. He did however do for my team mate Gadget a pump marker in purple. Although the job was quite good, because he had to do each bit on its own the anno was slightly different colours - I think that gadget did sell the marker on here.

For the small bits you have it will be worth a try, but from what my friend said, it was a load of hassle !!!!!

anodizing is not straight foward as it looks, if the bits aint important give it a go but i would send it to someone who knows waht there doing

na i have an sl94 and the 16 inch barrel spare trigger and lp cap are the only bits im gonna do will have a crack myself worst case i will send it off after .
