Hello All,

Is anybody aware of the manufacturers having a standard release date for certain items of gear.

I am interested in knowing about Jersey's, Trousers, and Battlepacks.

E.g Does DYE release a Jersey every 2 years in September.

Many Thanks

Often new kit gets released around World Cup (November)

Some brands have carried clothing over a few years, a lot of teams are in the habit of going to people like Jersey clinic / anthrax / raza for custom team soft goods.

In any industry manufacturers will target key announcements and/or releases at major trade shows or events.

For paintball that’s pretty much the World Cup to maximise the hype, but could occur at another major event, or actually release at a different time during the year.

If you want to pay the premium price for the shiney new thing then that’s your target timeframe.
If you want your money to go further then buy

Get goggles with the latest limited edition colour scheme on release, pay less for the rest of the batch that’s sitting on retailers shelves later on, or pay much less on last years colours.
e.g. you can currently pay full price of about £80 or £110 for Grills, or discounted £40 or £50 depending on colour scheme.
Or you could currently pay £7 for a £90 jersey, or £15 for £150 trousers
(All of these being current prices with retailers - when the new shineys come out more items will price drop)

If you’re happy to go into the second hand market then buy as others sell their current gear to fund new gear.
Time this after new releases, before Christmas when everyone needs cash, and as a new tournament season approaches.
“Sponsored” teams may have to buy full sets of new gear for the new season to retain their discount, or change sponsor and can no longer be seen in the wrong manufacturers gear
