Are there plans for a repeat Blackpool event or similar?

As has been posted above, once you hold an event away from Penkridge the costs rocket - turf, netting, scaffolding, insurance, venue hire.....

If you can find a location that is sympathetic towards paintball, and wants to put on some sort of extreme sports event, you are halfway there.
And Blackpool fitted the bill.

But there are 3 things you need to put on a successful exhibition event:-

1. Support from the teams.
2. Support from the teams;
3. Support from the teams.

In terms of PR for us can be measured from the number of teams that we attracted to the CPPS. In terms of real public awareness its hard to measure but having three deep, watching from two sides of the playing arena for two days cant hurt.

It would be interesting to see the number of web site traffic/hits on Phoenix, Planet and Rockstar's websites at that time of year compared to the previous year just to see if there was a jump as having the banners displayed across the front for a week must of attracted some attention?

All ill say is we are considering/planning an end of season style doo but it will depend on two things. Our first priority is to make the CPPS a success and establish a long term plan based around the series and the new site. Then with enough teams to warrant supporting a showcase event we can make them a sucess for everyone.

Well I don't think anyone visits the Rockstar website after seeing their banners at a paintball event.

The type of advertising they're doing is intended so next time a paintball player goes in to a shop and sees Monster, Relentless and Rockstar on the shelves. They have brand familiarity with Rockstar and may even go as far as to think, oh they were at the paintball event... and get that. Which makes it really hard to measure.

After the West Mids Show last year didn't we get some sort of promise of a more centralized/bigger location this year if we went back?

It's a tough call, I'd love to do another event but not at the expense of the growth and further development of CPPS. Either way, it's got my support

That website is for last years event, it needs to be updated. If it is on the same weekend then yeah, that would suck, but it might not be the same date as last year. Still, it would be pretty cool if it was at an event similar to something like this.

Sorry mate, I meant the White Air dates are from 2009, the 2010 for it dates havnt been announced yet, so theres still a chance it wont clash with anything.
