I think so, they are very good quality barrels and have a long control bore to maximise efficiency and lower the pressure hitting the ball.
The straight rifling is designed to stop the ball spinning and throw it straight, all in all I think they are a great tube.

Mine's working well thus far; I've had one since the day they came out. I use the 11 and 13" tips with good results, preferring the longer for longer fields and shorter for up close and tucked situations like 3man SupAir. They clean very quickly and easily, provide good accuracy, and the 13" is reasonably quiet.

I've been running one on my cocker since Mayham (thanks to Melvin at Armson,UK) and not managed to break a ball in it so I don't know how easy it is to clean or shoot through.
Compared to my Freak the SSR seems to throw a longer, straighter ball . I can't figure out why cos the paint generally isn't a perfect match, it might be the straight rifling.

Bad Dave runs the SSR on an RT and shoots really well, as for Impulse I'm hoping to get a set soon for my Impy, I'll post results here when I've got it.
