more or less

to go in to a game and not have any idea waht you are going to do will end in a very short game for you.

There is also a point where sticking to tactics too much can also result in a premature end to a game. If you stick to one plan and dont adapt if a situation goes bad then you will not progress.

Different teams use different levels of tactics. The most effective is trying to find good shooting angles and take people out that way.

i would say that going in to a game with a fixed plan is good because everybody can make a fast start because they know exactly what they are doing. Then (as nothing ever goes to plan) you change the plan to deal with the changes in the game.

This all come down to how well you communicate with your other players.

You have to know the layout of the map. Do a map walk first sp you know the layout e.g good bunkers, hollows in the ground, Bottlenecks, and sweetspots.

Old School, New Tricks
Attacking a fortified position is easy, you need to remember two basic ideas.

1: Impregnability works both ways. If it's hard to get in to, it's nearly impossible to get out of.

2: bunkers don't move. If they do, they're called tanks.

If you can avoid the position, you should. If it's unavoidable for some reason, you can control the players inside of it by denying them access to windows, doorways, or shooting lanes with your paint.

There's a basic primer there. Go get 'em.
