have you tried aligning the pin with its insertion point on the rammer and then pushing the pin down to lock it in? sounds like its not in properly to me and could have come loose in transit to you.

I hope that you have located the bolt pin correctly into the rammer grove..
no need to worry the gun is fixed !!! o rings needed a lube and a change.....i should have done this first
