Bursting Macro Hose...

Hi All,

Need some help please.
I've a 2003 sft Shocker with original front reg & macro line hose to a CP on/off ASA. It's connected to a Pure Energy Reg & 4.5k 0.7ltr bottle.

I pressurised the marker this morning & the macro line hose burst.
I've replaced the section of hose but it's burst again in almost the same place (just before it enters the vertical reg) I've not got access to a reg tester but the bottle & primary reg operate my Dye NT10 perfectly... Any input/advice would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Hello Fella, is the leak coming from the Elbow to which the Macro line goes into,
or is it the Macro line itself split ??

Have you aired it up before and it's been fine or was this the first time, is it proper macro line and not industrial air line.

A lot of players don`t seem to know that inside that Elbow is a "o" ring, pull off the Macro line and dig it out then replace it, it could be blocking the passage within the Macro line allowing it to burst ?? also look inside for any tiny bits of PTF White Tape that sometimes people use thinking it`s best to stop a leak = It isn`t !! it also could be a blockage ??
other than that I think it could be just a faulty Macro line itself ?
end of the elbow is the cap where you put your macro line into, just prize it off with a small screwdriver and your in, when your ready, just push it back on again

Even if there was a blockage the macro line shouldn't burst, a blockage would be no different than the gun holding the air pressure before being fired, a blockage wouldn't increase the pressure in the line.

I agree, but I`m looking at options ?? I must say though, in the years I`ve been playing and with the amount of guns I`ve had, and I`ve had a Lot more than most, I`ve NEVER had a Macro line split.
