What is so bad about it???
I'm being serious. I spent just about every friday night/saturday very early morning in Brixton for about a year and I never had a single problem. I never had my car broken into or damaged and all the people seemed really friendly.
Even now it's a great place to go out. You've got the George IV, the 414 club, the Fridge (and Fridge Bar) and loads of other places _as well as_ the Fujiama Noodle Bar.
I really fail to see what's the matter with it.
It's no worse than the St. Pauls area of Bristol really and I've never had a problem in the six months I lived there either.
