Hello Ladies and Gents

I am appealing for some information on what is the best 2 way radio and mic set up for woodball a friend and my self have explored the cheapish opition £30 2 ways with no luck, as the where unworkable and just a all round nightmare. So before we spend any more money on equipment that is not suitable I wold like to know what people would reconmend.

Many regards

Andi

The ideal is an xtnid
(or xtni which is the same without a screen)
You can get software as well and programme the channels you want at a game

For general purpose use PMR walkie talkies make you compatible with the systems most people use in scenario, find out the allocated. Find out the channelsin use by your faction and you can then Communicate

Just make sure you have one with sub channels and not just the 8 basic channels

In my experience you dont need to go crazy with top notch radios or head sets

i bought a set of 2 motorola radios for about £80 range is perfect for outdoor use (Single pin)
i also bought a PTT headset from ebay see link of same style http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=33066

before this i did try a throat mic they work really well but if you have a fat neck or are doing a lot of movement and the throat mic moves from your neck all comunications are fuzzy

hope this helps
