How would you change the colour of your marker yourself and what would you use?

I would recommend getting it professionally annodised as otherwise it will look sh*t

Yeah, if you don't know what you're doing, chances are you're going to screw it up. From what I understand, you have to de-anodize the marker (a process similar to anodizing, just reversed), then strip it with chemical stripper, sand it, then re-anodize it, which sounds easy, but is actually quite difficult unless you know what you are doing. Or you could do like all the nerds with the M98's do, and just straight up spray paint over your existing finish and hope for the best

Just be prepared to spend alot on new parts when u f*** it up

Unless you have access to a large battery, a tank of the correct acid and a lot of luck, leave it to the proffesionals. If you get it wrong, your prized bits of aluminium have a nasty tendancy to dissappear into the acid. If you get it really wrong, the whole lots goes BANG, and it's time to redecorate the place. Plus the fact, if the pro screws up, it ain't your fault.
