Longer barrels are easier to aim with but not more accurate.
False

A short barrel such as a 6 inch is less accurate. Once you hit 10 inch and above though they are all the same. 12 inch will always be the sweet spot as it gives you enough length to manipulate your bunker properly but is not overly long.
Also false.

Longer barrels, better accuracy. It's been proven, I read it in a book published by Science. So I know, cus Science. #Science

Best things you can do to improve accuracy

Buy decent paint, even if it's five or ten pounds more you will see the benefit immediately.
Practice.
Practice more.
Maintain your marker, keep it clean internally to which helps consistency of airflow etc
clean your barrel periodically with soapy hot water.

A crap gun will still shoot good paint in a straight line.
Crap paint even through a great gun will be crap.

Data? You want data?

Here, have some data from Punkworks:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AtqsF2x2K22ocHltMHZWd1ZIZFNYMExCbnBORXhhYlE&gid=0 (125ft Accuracy Test)

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pym0vVwVHdSUEJIIzPnK7eA (50ft Accuracy Test)

Enjoy! There's a lot more data at the Punkworks site. Having looked at all of the data myself, I went for a Eigenbarrel Kit and tend to underbore.
