Dye Rotor burning smell?

Hi just a quick one, I’ve started noticing a burning smell coming from my rotor, I have stripped it down to check for moisture/dirt and tested it the motor (gearbox) which runs alright, so I figure it might be a board issue, possibly overheating. Does anyone have suggestions on what I could do to get this checked out?

Any help would be appreciated.
