Eclipse shaft 3 or 4

I am not 100% sure of the differences between the shaft 3 and 4, so I am hoping I can get clarification.
What I do know is they are both A/C threaded, and the shaft 4 is newer than the shaft 3.
I own a Geo+ will a shaft 4 fit it?
Will a shaft 4 tip fit on a shaft 3 back?

What are the differences?

Theyre really not too different, just from what ive seen theyve put little divits in too make the shaft 3 barrel fronts or backs incompatible with shaft 4 barrels and the standard barrel back comes 689 bore
i may have missed something but really their not too different, oh also to add as long as your luxe is autococker threaded then the shaft 4 should fit

They don't fit together i think and theres not much difference other than the porting i think

I have recently run Justpaintball about this, they recommended the Shaft 3 because you can get it cheaper and is pretty much just as good, but if you have more money to spend on the shaft 4 they recommended that one

The shaft 3 and 4 are completely different barrels

the shaft 4 is longer due to its 2 male threads making the bore longer gives the ball more accuracy when the paint is sized correctly
the tip now has a female thread inside the barrel tip to accept the male threaded barrel back

The shaft 4 is better than the shaft 3
