well ok so people if i take my egg apart and get the two shells.
put masking tape in the inside and spray paint it with car paint
is that right?

yeah, youll need to put a layer of primer down first, then once thats fully dry, your main coat, then the varnish after that. Make sure you let it all fully dry, otherwise itl start to flake after a little while

forget primer, laquer and all that crap. Polycarbonate paint etches into the shell and will not come off at all, no need for laquers or primers it does it all in one go.
You'll get it in model shops often under the Tamiya brand, and you can get tint's which are see through.
I've done a smoke finish on a clear hopper looks great, and if you use a clear hopper you can spray the inside which gives you a lovely gloss finish.

they do every colour under the sun, including flourescent colours.

plus if you did use primer on the inside, all you would see is the colour of the primer
