Thanks for all the help and will try turning on without background and paint within,
as now i think about it i notice it isn't constant and this problem occurs on off
that is probly the reason why as i always turn my hopper off while waiting to get onto the field as my biggest dread is the hopper dying on me completely mid-game lol

Thanks again everyone for the help:) and will try everything and if it still doesn't work then i'll buy a new board at my training site shop

yes leaving your hopper on wont eat the batterys because it isnt a big battery consumer when its not spinning lol
