Looks bloody awesome for a grav fed hopper, would love to try one of these out.

These have been around for a while and the general consensus among users seems to be they feed better than most gravity hoppers but still nowhere near an agitator. The best results seem to come with a gun that has some kick or blowback to move things around but I'm not sure how it would perform on a gun that didn't move around much on firing.

These have been around for ages, similar design was around in the early 90s when i did my tourney play. They have become popular again because of stock classes that don't allow electro hoppers. Pump guns are natural hopper agitators because of the moevment so less jams and of course don't need to feed as fast. You have to remember that even pump guns were running agitators towards the end of their time at the top.
Wouldn't recommend a gravity feed on a semi when a basic £20 eye agitator is better suited to the job.
