I know it would be a bit of a trek, but if you enjoy your events think of looking at outpost Chester's weekend event called borderlands. Normally takes place mid June and is a good laugh, be good to play with another player with experience. Always found playing with people that have stuck with it more fun

It’s not compulsory to have the newest shiniest gun at a tournament, and with rate of fire the rules are likely to be 10.5bps
Though technology has improved there’s just an expected standard to be achieved, the problem that’s more likely with old gear is to not be able to restrict and slow it down enough!

I never used to play tournament but given the fact i’m in a much better geographical area for it and have much more time to play now I think i’ll jump in
