Well the news is the hearing date is set to the 14th Jan.

The better news is, he had until the 31st Dec to provide the court a written transcript of his "defence" which was apparently a recorded phonecall with TNT where they said it was doorstopped.

As you can imagine, he hasn't been able to do so, and it is now past the cutoff where the court will accept the evidence at the hearing.

It's civil not criminal court so an order to pay is the harshest we can hope for.

They aren't public, and actually neither is the outcome, revealing it on here immediately could lead to a fine under the data protection act. Saying it went well would be okay though just not specifics.

Any order to pay money will only appear on his permanent credit history if he doesn't pay it inside 28 days from date of the order (assuming it is a forthwith judgement). If you have a legit reason to want to see it (eg considering offering credit) you can search the court rejister but you have to pay to do so.

I dont think this is correct (just look at shows like "the sherrifs are coming") where they tell you the result of court and then show you them enforcing it.
