Freak XL inserts - are they supposed to move in the barrel?

Hi all,

Just purchased a new GOG freak XL carbon 14" barrel, when tight up against the marker the freak insert can be moved back and forth a tiny bit with a barrel swab, its not lose enough that it rattles by shaking it, but non the less it does move is that normal? i kinda expected it to be a "crush" fit but it seems as though it bottoms out on the outer body before it bottoms out on the inside. Marker is a EGO11

I did try it on the Maxxed Rize but that's got a eye pipe that's compressed with the barrel so naturally the insert doesn't move in that.

im not sure, but seeing as the writing is upside down, I would assume something is not screwed all the way in.

Yeah that was hard against the body, in the end after looking down the bore of the freak insert I decided I wasn’t happy with the quality, now have a PE shaft FL and it’s spot on.
