So as well as the GSL, it looks like Planet are releasing the Geo 3.1, incorporating the LV1 grips and the SL4 regulator. Looks nice, but I do wonder if there will be any impact on the sound signature or efficiency!

I would not pay the price for a geo3 with a sort of macro less design. I am very happy with the dm14 though. I'm curious to see the gsl

Why not, it's no dearer than a Geo3 was at retail?

GSL is ridiculously nice to hold, shoot, smell, lick, nibble and play with. And should be with us all soon! :D

Why would I pay for the geo3.1 when I could get a geo3 used or new for substantially cheaper and have the same performance and features...minus an awkward hose design.

If the gsl shoots like the geo3 I will be disappointed. I have always found the geo to be a stiffer shot than say my luxe or DMs.

Fair Does.
You won't be disappointed then, that's for sure. It's the smoothest marker I've fired, stock reg settings and there was nothing too it. Side by side shot of the 3.1 and the GSL and they are both very different markers. The new core makes a fair wack of difference.
