Geo3 core in a Geo2.1

Now going to upgrade my Geo3 with a lV core, curious whether the older Geo's would benefit from the core out of my Geo3??
I'm aware it will not work with the soft tip.

Yeah, Don't do that. Putting the can from a 3 into a 2 is a safety risk. It causes them to fire off when you purge the air out.
