Grubby tech mat

This is an odd one.

I've got a PE tech mat, one of the modern green ones. It's been in and out of my kit bag for the last couple of years so it's got quite mucky. Is there any magic way of cleaning them to make it shiny and nice again? I've tried hot soapy water without any joy.

Break cleaner, gets rid of most dirt, great at removing axle grease from your hands , never tried it on a tech mat though so use at your own risk.

I put both of mine in the dishwasher

As they are silicone, the dishwasher should be fine!

I'm sure you're all clinging onto news of an update

Following a trip through the dishwasher it's still just as grubby looking, not shiny and bright like it used to be.
