you need to install the Half life CD as its a MOD for that game,

yeh i have the half life installed as i have it on disk, then on the valve thing it lets me choose from a list of games, but the mod is not on there, hte games it lets me choose from are like
richochet
counter strike
half life 2 demo

The mods main folder needs to be in the 'C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods' folder.. (Assuming C:\Program Files is where you have Steam installed).

Oh yes, that was dumb of me - Don't put it in the Source Mods folder, follow that link
