well I've managed to get a new set of eyes and tried them last night.
testing went as follows;
connect bone pack to halo guts (pack is pushing just over 9v) with old eyes in situ on the feedneck - anti jam code
removed old eyes but kept them close together, power back up - anti jam code.
kept old eyes apart, powered up - anti jam code
Tried the new eyes in position on the feedneck - powered up, motor kicks into life, tried it a few times motors starts each time
looks like it could have been the eyes. I just need to put it all back together now and put a few balls thorugh it to see if its back to normal
