Mooching round the 50, with the flag
To follow on from my other thread about issues with my halo B I've got a quick question.

having now replaced the eyes the hopper turns on and the motor spins, however if I block the eyes, with a cloth or paintballs in the feedneck the motor stills runs and doesn't shut off. I guessing this isn't normal?

It's a brand new set of eyes, just replaced them due to the old ones constantly flagging up the anti-jam code.

On the rare occasion I do get the old ones working the motor does shut off when the feedneck has something in it, so I'll go along that the new eyes are missing something...

Make sure you are actually blocking them.

They are deceptively high up in the feed neck.

Also, sticking your finger or similar in, won't always do it.

The finger should be pressed up against them, rather than just in front of them.

Easiest thing to do is try it with paint.

Obviously make sure that the holes are clear.

Bit of cloth was completely through the feedneck, visible at both ends.. I tried it with some paint as well, no change

Tne fact that I currently have it taken apart (no shells, cone etc.) just bare bones isn't going to make any difference?
