I have a standard black UL back that came with my DM8 and I'm looking to get a second to help me cover more paint sizes. My understanding is that the normal back is .688 bore size. So what alternative size would be more useful across the board, .684 or .692?

As a alternative to that, I came across a bore sizing kit named the Python compression kit and wondered if it was worth it. It is something like the freak system but you can use any cocker thread barrel as the front. It comes with 4 bore sizes.

Any opinions? Comments? Advice?

Smallest bore you can find?

Dunno if anyone here reads the stuff on TechPB but they found that underboring can actually be better than overboreing.

I just watching a bunch of techPb shows on youtube and he actually recommends overboaring your barrels. He uses .693 and .694 exclusively if he can.

I'll call dye tomorrow and confirm the stock barrel size.

Thanks for the advice Hawkins, thats probably the direction i'll be going.

Anyone use or heard anything about the python compression system? I think BZ Paintball sells them in the uk.
