Only piece of advice I will give you is its better to be as gun ho as you want to be in fewer games, than it is to try to spread your paintballs around more games, therefore not trying as much to win/get the flag/run the last guy down etc.

In other words, go for it on whatever budget you got, and when you run out, tell em thats it! Or buy more :)

Think first few times I played, I used about 100-200 per game, with about 8 -10 games a day. Seems ridiculous now that us tournament players carry 800+ balls per game around our waist

Delta force is really dear costs £8 per 100 paintballs which is HUGE considering you can buy a box of 2000 for £30, Not sure if you buy in bulks though but im still guessing it will cost alot.
Its called a business. Try opening a paintball site and covering your overhead bills, fees and staff wages whilst charging £30 a box. Aint gonna happen fella.

Delta Force prices

£5.99 per 100, when bought in bulk (2000 paintballs)
Works out as £119.80 per case

£6.99 per 100, when bought in small quantities

(Or an extra £1 on top of those in Scotland)

I would expect them to have a rolling price structure, e.g. 100 @ £6.99
500 @ ?
1000 @ ?
2000 @ £119.80 (But on nice round figures they could be £120 per case)

The above prices will be the on the day rate and exclude the entry fee. What you should find is that you get a better rate by pre-booking paint with entry, and may want to book some or all people in with 500 paintballs to get started. Then recommend to people that they don't buy extra paint without consulting with others and splitting the cost.

Note: To walkons / event players / sponsored or supported teams these prices are high, but they are typical for the bread and butter punter customer that keeps sites running. They have to pay to cover all the marshalls, site rent, insurance, purchase and maintenance of gear.....

Delta force are a 'corporate' chain of paintballs centres. If you look through the forums you will see feedback on some sites as excellent and some as diabolical. Haave a look around your area for any independant sites and check out the competition, call the sites and ask what deals you can get.

that is disgusting price for paint thats taking advantage ov the little people. Its places like that why are local walk ons/site's dont get the numbers coz people think its to dear a good day out should be around £40-60 that would be green fees and a box ov paint.

delta force what a rip off
How are they gonna pay their overheads/staff? Punter sites aren't the cash cows people think they are.

To the OP, if you're worried about running out of paint and you don't want to buy more, go on crazy runs and don't shoot people unless you have a good shot. It's more fun than counting 4 seconds between each shot you take at some guy 100 meteres away. Your paint will last longer, you'll have more fun, and you'll probably win more. As above, club in together to keep costs lower. Have fun!
