31, started when I was 15. Haven't been around for the past 10 or so years, looking to start up again.

Pretty funny, same boat - I'm 32, started playing when I was 13-15 and just got back into the sport with some buddies at work about a year ago. I figure I can only keep this up for the next 4-5 years until my knees disintegrate. The difference now is that I have the budget for the sport, which means I've got those "markers i've always wanted." Unfortunately, I have too many of them now...

I always laughed at the thought of wearing knee pads... Now I'm trying to find the best pair possible! :)

I'm looking at building the new marker collection. Any recommendations? Still trying to catch up with whats any good...

I have D30 filled downhill cycling knee pads, light flexible and obviously designed to take a pounding

    I’m 50
Played from about 25 until I was about 32. Played against Robbo a few times and Ledz and Jacko then stopped but the bug has just bitten me firmly on the ass again. Let the good times roll.

34 and I've been playing less than a year.
I've been playing a mixed age group from 16 to 50'. Some fool keeps talking me into into playing competitive paintball, do they do a vets league in paintball like they do in rugby? I could do with a beer break half way through a game ;)

I'm 48. I first played way back in 1989, running around in the woods in olive green overalls, uvex goggles & a Splatmaster that struggled to send a paintball any further then 20 yards! But I absolutely loved it!
Over the next few months I had kitted myself out with a JT mask, assassin hood, tiger stripe camo's & a nicely tricked up second hand Bushmaster that I bought from Belsales in Farnborough (anyone remember them? If I remember rightly, I think they had a lot to do with Barts Stud Squad).
Over the next couple years I improved my kit further (a Bud Orr Sniper 2) & had started a 5 man team with some mates & was playing regularly in novice tourneys, mostly at the NTF in Birmingham or SAS at Maidenhead. Unfortunately my paintball career was cut short by a messy marriage break up at the end of 92. Even though I've played a fair few punter days over the years since, it's not been since both my son's have got into paintball that the bug has bitten again. They keep pestering me to get myself some entry level kit & join them in going to walk-on days at our local site. I'm well tempted, but am I too old to start again???
I keep telling them that woodsball is where it's at, but I would love to have a crack at the modern game. I'll have to find a site that does OAP days, lol.

32 and finally with the disposal income to buy all of those markers that I love. The funny thing is, I am not interested in the latest and greatest buy trying to buy all of the older cool Angels, PE Cockers and PE Ego's. I am the same exact way with cars, too. Sickness for sure
