How to new users manage find dead old threads?

Pretty easy to find old posts to be honest just by using the search function...

I used 'geo' for example as it's probably one of the most common markers out there and within the first 15 results, I think 1 was from this year.... Some dated back to 2012..

Probably quite easy for a new member to not notice the date.

Yes, but if you're posting just to up your post count in order to gain classified access.........do you do a search on "really old threads nobody cares about"?

Now if they wanted access faster they should start a thread that evokes responses. Such as...Chelsea is currently up 2-0 at Wembley over Spurs. Thoughts on a final score?

It's true they should just start a topic that will draw out responses.

"Is Airsoft more fun?"
"Why isn't paintball on TV/in the Olympics/a sport?"
"How do I make paintballs more accurate?"
"How many dead mans walks will Arya try this season?"
