Hydro testing

I've read on line that hydro testing date has been moved from every 4 years to every 5 years.

Anyone confirm if this is true as if it is I have just saved myself £45 I thought I was gonna have to shell out before CPPS

Don't think it has ever been 4 years, originally it was 3 years for fibre wrapped bottles but that changed to 5 years when they changed the standards, so unless you have an early bottle which won't have long to live now anyway it's 5 years for fibre wrapped and steel bottles (not that any one uses steel bottles) and 10 years for aluminium bottles.
