i've only ever played 1 tourny and it was a mm i think it was at uttoxeter (if i even spelt it right). but from my experience you have to get there about 8.00 am to register with ur team. playin starts around 9.00 am and i think we played 6 or 7 games. it was great fun and i cant wait to do it again.

i hope this was helpful but like i said i only ever played this turny and it was about a year ago, so if i am wrong someone please correct me.

i think there were about 7 of us and it cost us about £20 each so that is aboot £140 for the team, we just rotated the players. but again it was over a year ago and that was midland masters so the price may have changed.

again hope this helps:D

P.A. LEAGUE - Is the future of paintball run by hatts and gillie who also run the paintball uk magazine this is the most professional of this series is a national league and can only be entered at the start of a season because of the way in which it is run and each team is named after there local town/area.
This is 7 man sup-air centre flag format and is at a purpose built site.

SERIES 2K4 - Well established and can be played by any team, any event. (just register first with bully at the u.k.p.s.f)
Formats are:-
two flag
sup'air and hyperball

MIDLAND MASTERS - Another well established series of events also two flag with a mixture of sup'air and hyperball

Try enquiring about that little lot for starters dude.

My bet would be to get your teeth into bully's series for a taste of paintball dude, then try the midland masters.

Hope this helps

Hiya fella,

Just as Noel said,

King Of The Hill is a tourney series specifically for rec ballers making the transition to tourney ball.

It is a 5 man Limited event which means that all five players have a hopper of paint, the captain also has 3 pots that he can allocate however amongst his/her team.

Entry fee is £150 per team.

For more information call Bex on the number Noel gave you or me, Wendy on 07736 255 795 after 5pm.

Looking forward to hearing from you.:D:D :D

Good luck Badman this year trying out some more tourney ball. I'm not that clued in on the scene this year, but this KOTH sound like a rather sweet deal, plus the fact that Bex is a great gal should make it rather awesome.

May i offer one bit of advice though. Like most sports and activities, it's not really what you play it's WHO you play with that can make things groovy or suck. Although generally ballers are good fun, i recomend that you go try tourneys and play alongside people you know. Tourney balling is a good social event but it allways helps to have guys you know by your side.

cheers all

It sounds like there is a lot to choose from.

Is the transition from rec ball to tourney ball a big one. Is it a hasle at first or can you just pop in to it.

would i be better spectating first and playing later or just dive in?

Just dive on in - watching paintball is like watching porn, it's fun but not as good as participating. :)
