no i called lincolnshire police they said as long as you dont point the gun at anybody or the paintballs dont leave your garden & then it is ok also called a couple of paintball sites they said the same

you can only use paintball markers on private land or if you have the owners permission.
and using it in your own back garden is on private land so as far as i am aware its legal.
well i still shoot it in my garden when i have a little left over paint and air.

I believe paintball is classed in the law as air propulsion or somewhat alike? which enables it legal in the UK, sure this had to be reformed a quite while back though because they banned it for a short time or something years back?

I always use my gun in the garden, but never tell my brother to stand at the other end and dance, noo no, i wouldnt do such a thing..
