The reffing cock up that has ended up with Joy resigning from the NPPL was one that could/should have been sorted as soon as it happened.
I and I believe most other people have far more respect for an organisation who admit a mistake when it is made and put it right.
Get rid of the present tournament Ultimate and replace him with someone who has the confidence of the players.
Not all the reffing is bad, they just need guidance.
Robert "Rosie" Rose or maybe Dan Fagan would meet all the criteria and could with time give them refs as good as the NXL and UK Refs.
If they want the best though they would have to prise Tim Schroepfer from his job at the PSP who has shown everyone how it needs to be done.
$5000 an event should do it!
