Just starting out in the UK

Hey me and a freind have finaly decided to take the plunge and invest in our first markers. We were both thinking about getting a spyder shutter, are there any other markers that people would recomend? Do you think we should get ON/OFF or PIN valves (do sites have both?).

Oh and any fields around South London that we could go to and practice Speedball or Sup'Air.

Take a look at http://www.paintballguide.co.uk/
It lists a whole bunch of sites. Then phone them or go look up the postcode on www.streetmap.co.uk and visit them.

Alternatively, bimble along to a tournament or walk-on day. You should be able to find a few people who will give you some advice (along with hordes of grumpy smelly hungover fools just like the ones who hang out on this board)

There is one 'train or be trained' day per month for a small cost, one seven-man and one five-man tournament per month. All involve Sup'air ball.

It's a shame Clive hasn't posted on the new board yet....
